I took a quick look through the preview list after it was sent, and have decided to scratch Invader off my list of art pieces I would like to own. Some of these appeal to me, but the prices are just silly IMO. I think I'll buy some hand made Italian glass tiles, pick my favorite image, and just make my own. If you are going to argue that it isn't that easy, I really do think that it is. It won't be signed, but so what? $19,000 for a signature that wouldn't show anyway ... the sad part is that I like Invader and what he does. |

Yeah they're a bit nutty. I enjoy his work in the wild and it looks like that's where I'll continue to see it  |

He is the one street artist whose work makes absolutely no sense to me away from the street. Also, I'm pretty open minded about materials and media but I struggle with mosaic tiles at any price let alone this level. Probably more to do with the fact that, away from street, that's all it is - mosaic tiles arranged nicely. I really wonder who buys it for that kind of money? Having said all that I totally love seeing his work out doors where it should be.

The odd Invader print does enough for me.
As for who buys these....investers protecting their investments most likely.
