I just thought I would post these 2 great pieces I came across yesterday in LA. The first is by Gaia who is based out of NY if I'm not mistaken. This piece was actually just made into a print...edition of only 25. And then the second piece is by Swoon who is just amazing...this piece reminds me of some of the art/graffiti I saw while in Brazil.

Oooh. Great topic. Saw this on Melrose the other day...although it's been all over the internet already.

Nice pics! That D-Face installation is pretty sick. Was that in someone's parking lot or just out on the street somewhere? Nice to see Shep doing some layering on his piece as well, instead of just a simple paste-up. Everytime I get a bit tired of his direction, I take a breather and revisit his street and fine-art pieces and I remember what the man is capable of.

Love the D-Face installation! Hung, are you and Yolao branching into street art? I remember that Oli liked D-Face before and now he is into Prefab.

I have a little here and there but nothing serious. I can say that I admire it a lot more than before when I couldn't believe all the fuss over stencils.

This is the wall of the bike shop on Heliotrope just before Melrose, it's an epic wall, with a great Know Hope and a Bumbleebee Hive just next to these pieces! s

LOLs. Supposedly seen on the streets but doesn't it look a little photoshoppish... Looks cool, and a great idea but it is photoshopped. There is a halo around the "Scientology", more so than any other words on the image. The words are also more crisp than any other straight edge, especially since this was taken with an Iphone.
