Great Sas Christian piece. Also digging the two Tony Fitzpatrick pieces. Ah, they must have added the Sas and Colin pieces after I looked. Great pieces. I like this one from Soto.

Thanks for posting info about this event, Sleepboy. The art for this show is absolutely beautiful, and the highlight of the event will be the film premiere. It's a fine art documentary featuring candid interviews with Joe Sorren, Martha Rich, Kevin Christy, Camille Rose Garcia, Jeff Soto, Tim Biskup and the Clayton Brothers. The film premiers tomorrow, Thursday July 23rd at 6:30pm. It's at the Wonderhaus in San Diego a few blocks for the San Diego Convention Center where Comic-Con is. The address is 1441 L Street. If anyone needs more info or a complimentary ticket to the event, call 619.990.3010. To see a more complete list of all 25 pieces in the exhibit you can go to Mark Murphy's blog at www.murphydesign1@blogspot.com.

Stunning lineup - big props Mark.
That Femke piece is a beauty, as are many others. Good luck down at the Con.

The show was a highlight for me this weekend. I really enjoyed the premiere, I think it well done and I would guess anyone on this forum would enjoy it too. I was so happy to see Mark make a major contribution to our virtually non existintant art scene in San Diego. There is a ton of $ here, but the people don't seem to make art a priority. More shows like this may help. Also the pieces in this show seemed to be priced way lower than that of similar shows, and I think Mark may be taking a smaller gallery cut. There were quite a few that didn't sell, so collectors should inquire about em. The coolest thing of the evening were the gift bags. I got a Jeff Soto book in mine, but since I already had it, I traded it to my friend who was drooling over it. Thanks Mark and thanks Jamaica too.

Event was a lot of fun and there were some fantastic pieces there. First chance I've had to see a Colin Christian piece in person. Big thanks and congratulations to Mark.
