if the pieces all sold to one collector before the show even opened, it means theres a pretty high demand, especially for all her other collectors, so it only makes sense to raise the prices based on that
the two other pieces mose is referring to were 32x24 and looked very similar to the instagram pic above. The wallpaper pattern is basically the same. What I can't really tell is if those in the above pic are actually 32x24? Like someone else mentioned, I think this style of work was experimental and done based on the theme of this particular show.
From the photos this piece does look ugly and in many ways it is unattractive, but after close inspection there are many beautiful elements to the work created with painstaking detail which needs to be seen up close to really appreciate it.
