I had the pleasure of meeting him and briefly chatting with him when he was at the T-Rex one-nighter... Very nice guy. I hope that I didn't offend him with my broken Japanese... LOL.

Actually if you look at the first post in this thread you will see three of the pieces. Also if you look at the link I posted, you will see a total of 6 pieces on the wall. There were only six pieces but for closeup looks at the other 3 pieces, I would suggest contacting Mizuma. Or perhaps someone else here on the forum can help you out.

Wait, the pics you posted on AM are from the showroom??? Stupid me was thinking that it was his studio...lol. Sorry for all the silly questions then. Yeah I probably should ask the gallery for prices, I just fear that they will be way out of my price range and I will be disappointed. I always feel the galleries getting so many inquires and only a small percentage will actually buy something, must be frustrating for all involved parties, gallery, artist and interested buyer. That's why I prefer price tags in the preview rather then the "for price please contact the gallery" phrase... Thanks again for the answers!

Different galleries do things differently. Mizuma is probably even more different than most galleries in practice cause of the cultural differences from the Japan art scene. I also thought the pictures were from his studio when the gallery sent me the pictures. The pictures were actually from Mizuma's showroom. Guess that was the style of the show. They wanted to replicate a typical Japanese room with Sashie's smaller works as a focal point. The show does seem small, but take into account the 3 big pieces are over 4x5 feet each! If you're still interested in prices ping me and I can give you the ranges.
