thanks marcus.
if i weren't in the middle of a construction project on my home, i'd prob pull the trigger. now, i will have to have an internal battle of sorts for the next couple of days (or until someone else BIN).

i've sold a couple of amy sol ogs recently to help with my new mortgage! prices seem to be in the right ballpark, and the seller is a known and respected guy. i'd say this is a good deal for someone.

SOLD. Decent price. Older piece but still looked nice. I believe seller is one of our forum members. Congrats.

hmm...it sold to the person that flips amy sol paintings on ebay. i'm guessing we'll see this piece on there again for a higher price.

This was my sale. I like this painting but it isn't worth $3000 to me. A flipper might have bought it but they won't make what I did in the same amount of time. I bought it for $1100 15 months ago, I would have never sold it for that price but it was not worth $3000 to my wife and I.
I would love to know what people think it would have sold for without the BIN. How much money can this "flipper" really make?

i don't think it would have sold for much more. For that size probably worth $3500 at most but since it is an older work, usually does not sell for as much. I don't anticipate a price jump for her show at thinkspace so he will probably not have much success flipping it for a while.

knewman, congrats on your sale. if sleep was right, maybe you could have squeezed a bit more. that said, i think it is a collector's right to be able to sell a work if they get tired of it, don't find as much enjoyment, need the $, plus prob 1,xxx,xxx reasons... i guess what i do have an issue with (and again, not directed at anyone specific here) those that are in the business of flipping work. everyone has seen what this type of exuberance did to the dotcoms and more recently the housing market... the end game, someone is always left holding the bag. while i wish that would be in the flipper, in most cases it is the innocent, uneducated or unaware. in my mind, selling to real collectors can only support prices bc therewill be little supply turning over in the market. at the end of the day, if a serious collector ends up with a piece, hopefully it is continued to be cherished for a lifetime. sorry for the rant. peace out.

before you pass judgment, did u read the description?
Will also include a copy of "Come To Me" (Remix version) by Clazziquai which I have determined is the prpper soundtrack while viewing this work.
