Hahaha, so did we when we were picking up some things for our show this Fri - saw Natalia's piece in person, just stunning. She's come so far since our first solo show with her, super proud of her. Can't wait to see what she gets up to in NYC with LeVine since I hear more is to come there from Fabia in near future. Good stuff. yeah, i saw it there as well and couldn't agree more. that and the sylvia ji were both oozing awesomeness...

i'm seriously pleased i'm going to get to see that sorren piece.
so, is anyone from the board going to the preview night? would be nice to see a little artchival meet up thing going on.... a show roster like this in a museum setting is pretty special for the uk and is unlikely to be seen again in the near future.

I'm attending the preview night with a friend. Really stoked to be going to the preview of this show, been waiting for an event like this to happen in the UK for so long. If anyone wants to say hi, drop me a pm!

Im coming from London to the Preview with my girlfried.
I literally cannot wait. Every piece I see makes me more and more excited. That Ron English piece is stupidly ill.
It will be nice to meet some of you in person so come say hello to me ;D Im not sure how we will figure who each other is though. I have lots of tattoos, that may help point me out.

Just seen an announcement on Facebook from Corey Helford gallery that the public opening of this show is now set back to May 15th. I guess this is to do with the volcanic ash and cancelled flights here in the UK. So does this mean the preview will also be set back? Are the artists and art actually gonna make it over here?

We had to push the opening dates back 2 weeks because of the volcanic interruption. The private preview will be on Friday May 14th and the public opening will be on Saturday May 15th. Same place, same times, same festivities! So far all the artists who were planning to attend will be there for the opening. It's been a bit hectic, but thankfully air travel is back on in Europe By the way, did we mention the 13 new prints that will be available exclusively through the museum store in Bristol? More to come...

From the preview images I think the show easily lives up to my personal expectaions. Extremelly strong work from all of the artists, and an excellent cross section of the scene as well.
I want that Melissa Forman piece so bad!! That thing is amazing, and easily my favourite piece of hers ever. The frame is also insane. I enquired about it straight away and it was alreday gone.
I think the MIA piece is also one of her strongest, and I cannot wait to see that Stoupakis painting in the flesh. So many awesome pieces that I cant believe I get to go see. My only dissapointment was that I wish there was a new Simkins piece on display, oh well.
Major props to the Gallery for putting this show togther, its really impressive. Cant wait to see all the paintings for real now

Really excited about this. Definitely going to be there. Hoping to hear if I can attend the preview. It would be good to meet other members. How will we identify each other?

Just been reading online that burlesque star Dita Von Teese will be performing at the preview night. This is an added bonus for me, I'd love to see her perform, although apparently it's causing a minor storm in a teacup amongst local dignitaries who don't like that kind of thing!

Everything is moving and groovin' at the museum today with the install. The art was unpacked yesterday and Mike Stilkey is building his 3000 book sculpture in the front entry to the museum! So exciting. This will be the seminal exhibition debuting our art movement in Europe and the UK. Looks like we're going to be a Critics Choice in the Sunday London Times. Buff Monster arrives soon to start his mural. A big thank you to everyone at the museum - they are wonderful! And, of course a huge thank you to Richard Scarry See you all soon in Bristol! Have a great week. Check out these pics...

I've only just heard about this after being invited along by a friend whom I'm visiting on Saturday to go see the Simon Munnery gig with that night. So this is a nice bonus.
Looks pretty damn impressive and even if much of the art might not totally be to my taste I'm certainly very keen to see this. I think we're going along for the Gary Baseman tour.
