I really like these but wish there was some color to them. I feel like that is one of the best aspects of their work the use of color. Maybe they would hand finish them?

Then that would be a painting and defeat the purpose. The whole point of these is to offer up a lower priced item for their fans that can't afford a painting or that have missed out due to the demand. I feel that would be kind of an insult and these were already created as full on paintings at their last show.

Maybe I was wrong to say "some color" or didn't understand these as a lower priced item. I only saw it as a different medium and how the image shifted from full color to grayscale/no color. I think these drawings are stupendous and I may even prefer them to the full color paintings, shows their talent in a different manner. These two particularly as they are representative of a truck that they tagged earlier in the career. I still think they could manage to maintain the sketch medium, for a lower cost with maybe just an outline hit somewhere in one or two colored pencils. Or possibly I'm just a sucker for color accents. No insult intended towards their work or you Andrew. I'm a fan with his wishes and am thrilled these are up for sale, color or no color;-)

No denying their use of color is spot on and a big part of their appeal, just love that they can also kill it in another medium that allows a lower price point for folks. Just wanted to impress that this is their way of hooking up fans that miss out or can't afford their paintings now that things are starting to take off nicely for them. They are two of the most humble and beautiful folks one will ever meet, and feel this is amazing they are doing this. They've some very cool things up their sleeves for this year, stay tuned.

Cheers Andrew, glad to hear we are on the same page and just arguing over whish way the show their talents best. Sadly missed out as I'm on the train and went through a deadspot. Stupid forests. Congrats to whoever got the super study.

Congrats to whoever got the super study. Indeed, all shades of the Dabs Myla rainbow are a beautiful thing and to be enjoyed for various reasons and everyone will always have their favorite aspect. Trust there will be a couple more detail drenched graphite pieces to follow next month, watch this thread.
