No but Al Rockoff will be doing a limited run of original photos to go with it, i have two in hand to see how they came out. we are working on Edt. Size, image size, and cost

Feel free ot make an ffer and Marcus if you landed a print i can get it signed by Al for you when he returns. If you are interested in other images also Marc let me know we did a small run of printing to get ready for a gallery show in Nov. and decided to print some extra stuff.

It makes sense to me. I think it depends on how you interpret the eye image. A billboard with the message YOUR eye (your eye is fixed on this propaganda) HERE. Or I suppose you could think it was an error if you saw it as YOUR eye (you are looking) HERE.

oldfartplay: What's stupid is now that I'm looking at this in the morning, I see the eye. Last night, it just read, "Your here." Hence the critique. Haha. On an art-worthy note, what's up with the imagery this week? This certainly pales in comparison with with the Duality releases. I realy enjoy Shep's work when there's a strong use of gradient/shading. It adds a real grittiness to the pieces and incorporates well with the message behind his "propaganda." Kinda bummed as Duality were the first couple of pieces that had done anything for me since Walt Disney Concert Hall. Actually, I'm making an assumption. But when I saw the piece, she kinda jumped out at me, so I don't think it's a coincidence. I'm actually waiting for highbrow to chime in. ;D

I think that's what made todays prints worse than they probably really are. He releases for two weeks straight the beginning of what will almost undoubtedly end up being his best series of prints this year, and then...... these?
Can't wait to see DoH 3!

of course I can never post picture lol, you accidentally deleted one of the brackets, you had "/url]" at the end instead of "[/url]" fixed it for you....and love the image by the way. this series of prints will be one of his best i think. |
