I really like El Mac's street work (but REALLY like it a lot), and would love to own something from him... but this print just doesn't cut it for me somehow.. looks like a photoshoped photo and not much more than that.. the lines done even look like they were sprayed, plus Im not a big fan of religious motifs (cause I live in a hyper religious country, and Im sick of it)  |

Aside from the religious iconography the fact that it was hand drawn removes a lot of the play he gets in overlapping lines on his street pieces.
His spray painted pieces look like images created from interference patterns while the drawn/printed piece looks like a rough attempt at the same effect.

It was fun to be part of this initiative in Santa Fe (not many murals on adobe walls), the project is called The Hour Has Arrived. So many great artists came into town to paint and the Santa Fe locals have been embracing the project!

That one is from about 07 I believe. I have a shirt from upperplayground with the image that I have had for a while now, but I have no idea where it is actually located. I live in Phoenix AZ and I can think of 4 Murals he has done around the city that are still up from years ago. This is probably my favorite…  |

Nice! I would love to see what you have. I went to a NG graff show back in 99, but back then I had no kind of money, so was not able to pick up some of the stuff I really wanted from him. Still bummed out about it haha
