Hey guys, Just got these pieces back from the framer. I'm in the process of getting 4 additional Michael Hussar original pieces framed. Just waiting for the custom frames to be built. Can't wait! Here are two Hussar pieces and two Shawn Barber pieces. I like how they came out. Thoughts on the frames? I think the frames fit the paintings nicely but richard is right, creepy  By the way, not a big deal but there is a thread for framing in the general discussion section. Future framing questions can go there |

They look great! I have a Hussar print of White Devil....where did you take yours for custom frames? I'd love to get mine done in a frame that is worthy of my print.

Hey amin,
No buddy, the White Devil is a print. The Widow is a 1/1 giclee on canvas. To me it's an original since it's the only giclee print out there, but i'm assuming you mean the original oil. The lucky owner of the oil on canvas Widow is a guy named Gary who lives in southern CA. I've got several 1/1 giclee's of Hussar. The only true "originals" i own of Hussar's work are 4 drawings, with my favorite one being Slurry(featured on sketchtheatre.com, and youtube).
I'm looking into buying an oil on canvas, just haven't had the opp to do so. I'm more than willing to drop some good coin on one. The only chance i've had to buy an original was one of his Alla Prima portraits. Even though i really like them, i passed on it.

They look really great in those frames, did a good job of picking them out. Hussar's work is just gorgeous , well and Barber's to of course!

hey steveinca, got it. And, yes I definately think that your pieces are originals as they are 1/1. That's cool you're able to pick up some drawings. Hard to get Hussar originals.
