Maybe they're playing catch-up sorting out all those pre-orders for the Reg Ed. - they took orders for over a year. My sister ordered hers July, 07! (the first 100 got signed Reg Editions). jIm mark confirmed to me a while back that whilst i was one of the first 100, they would not be honouring the promise to have the book signed. i'm pretty peeved at this. he seems to think that some postcards will suffice instead.

Hi everyone,
If anyone's interested, I interviewed Ray for the last issue of Dangerous Ink, and as soon as the relaunch issue hits the shelves in January, I'll be posting the whole of his interview on our website for a free read.
Cheers!
Tom

Received a friendly email from RGG quoting the prices for the 3 prints.
'The prices for Ray Caesar are:
Metatron - $15,000 Dark Angel Study - $7000 Descent - $17,000
These are unframed prices. We mount on aluminium/dibond/plexiglass, enormous pieces, VERY expensive to ship, so unframed might be a better option for you. Unframed shipping I would estimate to be $150 but would have to confirm that.'
I have always been fascinated with 'Metatron', but I have never considered paying such a large amount for a print. It was nice of them to respond though, and I will just have to continue to look and admire, since I am still happy to remain debt free with my stack of credit cards just sitting there all forlorn.

I'm just back from an opening show in Berlin (Germany) and the above piece "French Kiss" is really stunning. It's priced at € 4.950.

I don't know if this will help at all but i guess it's worth trying... appraisemyart.blogspot.com/The woman who runs this blog features some of the artist talked about on this site, maybe she can help if you email her as her primary job seems to be art appraisal.

Chris Hey Chris, welcome to the forum. If you are interested in selling the piece then you should get a proper appraisal, otherwise you should just contact a gallery that reps his work and to get an estimate of what's it worth.
