I came across this free (which I think is free?) magazine while I was up in Santa Barbara over the weekend. I was eating lunch at this place & I look down I saw this to my surprise. Mostly surfing & skateboarding, with a little art/music/culture stuff. www.blisssmag.com/ |

off of flickr if you do a search for craola and then click most recent theses pictures came up... I hear a lot of sketches for the march show are expected with a limited number of canvas pieces....there was a hint about a surprise but that was all I wonder if a collab piece is in the show?

What does 280 refer to? I notice it is in many of his pieces. Yah, he uses a lot of code/symbolism in his works I think. Usually either having to do with his graffiti days or this one book he really likes (i forgot which one) but 280 might the page number? Or was that another number lol? |

You often incorporate symbols and your own mythology into your work. The rare chase Scurvy Nevil seems to be another example with the mysterious "280" surrounding the anchor symbol. What's it all about? Or at least give us a hint ?
A lot of people ask about the "280" in my paintings. I was writing it on stuff before I even picked up a paint brush and it has taken on a little life of its own. A few people know what it is and I would be doing the rest a disfavor to just tell them what it was without a little hunting. A hint though. It was told to me by a rabbit in the moonlight.
