really? I dig this piece quite a bit. And to be honest, Im not all that into his work. I like it's simplicity.

This piece has a deeper emotional quality than much of his work – hopelessness and poignancy... regret... suffering. I'd say it's pretty strong, despite its lack of complexity – or perhaps because of it.

that is the great thing about art...what one person loves another is not so keen on. for being 2x3ft, the piece looks pretty unfinished. i am not a fan of the subject matter or lack thereof. i just found it a bit odd that we never saw this the day it was supposed to get completed and then a half finished piece jumps up on ebay for auction. unless Greg is going for a whole new style, I would say this piece is far from being complete. again just my 0.02, and I don't know much these days
