Escif recently took part in Afuera project, in Cerro de Pasco (Peru), a mining city high in the Central Andes at 4500 m altitude. The goal of the project is to shed light on local issues which are deterioration of living standards, isolation from the rest of the country, and other environmental/social issues caused by current mining operations.
