I am rather in awe of the collections on here but will try to upload some of my collection. I was drawn to art via comic book art. I was a big Batman fan, but it was the art rather than the stories I was interested in. Part One Conor Harrington - Bang Bang You Shot Me Down The largest painting I own and in my humble opinion the best Conor has done. Sorry about the crappy photo. Hush - Blades Hush - Graf Warrior i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy74/thejokerspuppet/sdcc735.jpg[/img]Hush- Fallen Hush -Graf Geisha Tim Biskup - Doom Loop #4 Tim Biskup - The Furnace

wow, you bought that conor piece. that really is stunning. it must be at least 3 metres long if i remember right as it filled the whole wall in the gallery. there is a hell of a lot going on in that painting, and the opening was very crowded - i recall waiting around until most of the browd had gone before i could get a proper look at the whole thing in context. did they deliver that on the back of a lorry?
those biskup pieces are awesome too. the furnace is a real classic piece, and i think the only 'self portrait' he had done of himself, or at least had a few years back. gotta love the cubist skull series he made though- what a beauty!
thanks for sharing the pics joker.

Thanks for the comments. I was lucky with the Conor a piece as I have one wall that can accomodate it. I thought the prices for that show were reasonable and was hoping to buy a piece from the recent show in LA but the price jump was a joke. Deflation? Not in the art market. A couple more pieces I have photos of; Hush (again..). Blades was used for the cover of the Urban Sketchbook; this was used for the title page. Shag Satans Bachelor Pad

Greg Gossel - Special Offer Often accused of copying Faile; no question they must have been an influence but I prefer some of Greg's imagery and at the emd of the day Mimo Rotella was do Faile in the 1950's. Joe Ledbetter - All For Marbles

Some great pieces, particularly like the Shag, Biskup, Hush and Dalek, so much going on in them.

You have some wonderful pieces - that Harrington is one of the best I've seen from him and I really like your Dalek and Shag pieces.

I like! Love the Chris Reccardi pieces. I love his partner Lynne Naylors retro pieces too, though not so sure about her newer direction, personally.

A couple of new pieces Daire Irwin - young Irish artist; a bit of an impulse buy at a Charity auction. I was so pleased to get the Conor that I got a little over excited and bought this piece! Conor Harrington

That Harrington is amazing. Is it the one that was auctioned for charity recently?

Yes, it was auctioned in Dublin for Scoop Foundation. I was in Australia on business and had to set my alarm in the middle of the night in order to bid. It was worth it - just received it today and well pleased.

Congratulations. Half of me hopes that you got a great price and the other half hopes that it raised a big wedge for charity!
