The blue one is rather tasty though I'm really quite happy with my pink 'un.

i wonder, was the painting featuring the new colourways of the toys produced solely to validate the toys themselves in some way?

It's not really a painting as such. 95% photoshop and a 'new' dress and feet for the wee lassie.

Thanks for pointing this out...I knew there was something wrong with this image: YHWH, 2000 YHWH shopped, 2012 I loved the pink one, as it was just the weirdest vinyl toy you could think of, and since it is based on a painting and not vice versa. For the next round I'd suggest orange/green/copper, then yellow/royal blue/silver. I think I am in a mean mood mainly because I am not allowed to buy stuff.

I too am in a position where I need to sell my Mark Ryden -- its a JaJo Patron Saint of Clowns signed and numbered giclee print. Do you have any suggestions? I put it on ebay and it was embarrassing how little people were willing to pay for such an incredible piece by an amazing artist.
Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

$25,000? really? for that? Sheesh! If it sells for that price, instead of Lincoln, Ryden should be giving more credit to this guy. Attachments:

I dont know much about Ryden's prices, but must say I was pretty surprised with that figure too... I got quite excited for a minute, thinking it's available and maybe even affordable, but the price tag burst that bubble instantly

He's sold large paintings in the 800k-1MM range, so none of his originals are going to come cheap.
