One of my friends who scored himself a drawing said he didnt even get one as well, and he has been a ryden collector since 1999 i believe (has the gold girl drawing, snow yak with babies and a few others) his name is john purlia look up his website . My own Ryden OG should be paid off soon. (this one ) That is if... some other stuff can be settled as well. If not the money will be used for a drawing at one of his other shows.

Mark recently held a signing of his Snow Yak Show book here in SF at the MoMA. Managed to pop in quickly for a couple pics (wanted to get a couple things signed but the line was craazy long...) Here are a couple shots that didn't make the recent HF post (lighting at SFMoMA is a consistent pain in my ass!)

Nice photo of Mark and Snow Yak, Ken. It's a bit blurry but still a very nice shot

I would love to have the bookmark that comes with the Snow Yak book, but it is not worth the $37 overseas shipping to me when the book costs just $28, and then there will be customs fees, too. I'll get it from Amazon later.

If she was trying to do a Ryden meat dress she failed miserably.

I think Gaga's meat dress is more likely to come from the avant garde fashion people she associates with, as well as her own desire to be controversial and a bit shocking, not at all similar to Ryden's use of meat clothing, which is far more subdued and doesn't seem like gore, at all.

I just saw this on another web site. I wonder what the dimensions are. So peaceful, somehow it reminds me of The Creatrix.

Absolutely amazing piece, the best Ryden I have seen for a long time. Easily surpases everything from his last show in my opinion. Frieze art fair here I come! Its worth the price of admission just to see it.

A truly remarkable painting, indeed. Love that pentagonal Scattagories-esque eye die.
Hell, the craftsmanship of the frame alone, even if carved by some native Bali woodworker for pennies on the dollar, is worth the price of admission alone.
