Yay, more voting to commence... Lovely Audrey is debating about another timed print for 2008. I really hope she decides to do this, seems it would be a fantastic holiday bonus for all of her fans! Only one vote out of six incredibly hard choices. I could stare at 'Silent Stories' all day, but I personally voted for 'Two Sisters', since I love her monotones so much. i-seldom-do.livejournal.com/Please vote! |

Great idea! If it means actually getting hold of a print like two sisters without any headache i wouldn't care if the edition was out of 5000!

Another timed release is such a GREAT idea!! Why not release the top two pieces, though??
How great would it be if "Two Sisters" and "In the Forest of Sleep" were both available to anyone who wants them just in time for the holidays!!

"Two Sisters" has been chosen as the next Time Release limited edition.
Maybe before Christmas?

so what do we think the dition size will be this time?
the last one was 780ish... and i guess a few people who bought solely to sell on were put off by this.
i'll be going for one, and i guess that with a further recent increse in polularity, the edition will be at least a thousand. ;D

Happy that 'Two Sisters' is the one. I assume at least 1200 prints will be sold, and that was a really lovely choice Audrey made for her fans.

well, that would leave people like me out who had trouble logging on after repeated attempts and couldn't vote.
I think this sale is Audrey's incredibly kind attempt to try and please as many as possible given some of the negative responses she gets slung her direction when people don't score a limited print.
limiting this print in a different way seems to defeat that purpose and invite more drama.
my two cents.

Timed sale is the way to go. I'd like to see a longer sale period rather than a 1 hour time frame though - it still makes it tough for some fans to acquire the work as they have to be at their computers right then and there, creating a small market opportunity for flippers.
My vote was for "My Dishonest Heart" but "Two Sisters" is a very lovely piece.
