I love the colors of these recent works and am quite happy that Charlotte won. I would have passed on I Won't Forget You.

My wife was watching NY Ink on TLC, and noticed a few Kawasaki's hanging in the shop. edit - just saw am article on the fact that the art was picked with the help of members/admins of this board... Nice work! Yah some of the work from the show are from the collection of forum members. More pics here.

Hi guys, this is going to be my first post here and would just like some advice. I recently emailed Pressure Printing about their Okimiyage APs and Brad let me know that they are now going for $3000. Do you think that is a bit steep considering all the factors ie. large edition size, they were originally selling for $2000? I can't get this image out of my head even though I shouldn't even be considering spending that amount of money. Maybe I must try pick one up on the secondary market because I don't actually need an AP (unless the regular run is going for the same price as this AP these days), or save up a bit more for an OG...What do you guys think?

I have seen them go for $3000 or more on the secondary market and they weren't AP's. That's not to say you couldn't get it for less on the secondary market or to say you think AP's are worth more. The other advantage is there is probably less risk if you buy it from the source I would think. Also, there is a Price Check thread in the B/S/T section if you wanted to use that next time. Good luck!

Good luck! Thanks for the reply, I'll keep the Price Check thread in mind next time round. (Sorry if I high jacked this thread) After much deliberation I have come to the conclusion that this is actually a very fair price for an absolutely beautiful piece! I just can't justify spending an entire months salary on it at this point. Hopefully there will still be a few available on the secondary market in a few years time once I've built up a bit of a nest egg... For everyone's information Pressure Printing only have the 1 AP left in stock so if you were on the fence on this one I suggest you pick it up while you still have a chance. Unless you are going to brave the secondary market in the future too...

I really like the concept of the princess holding the sword and I realize it's an incomplete work but to me it really seems to lack the detail of her previous work and looks somehow amateurish.
The other piece on the right looks amazing though.
