A little thread maintenance for Edwin: His show thread for "Softly Encompassing the Womb"... ...and his interview at Erratic Phenomena. Make sure to come out Saturday night, his preview is out and the work is gorgeous!

Edwin just released two prints on PaperTiger. The catalog for his show is also on there. My favorite of the show is on as a super limited edition of 5 oversize prints.

His piece for the LOST show. Love how he was able to capture the likeness of the characters. Not surprisingly, this scene from the show (filmed in Hawaii) blends seamlessly into Edwin's usual imagery...

Nice interview. Do check out the show if you are in NY this week. We shipped everything from the gallery here in LA and I was happy to see the work in person. I know a few collectors who have already scored some GREAT pieces from the show...

I appreciated the sleepboy interview - thanks! The commandax in-depth talk from last year was pretty amazing and really super insightful (I really wanted to know about his process). What fun you guys must have in really getting to know these folks. Yes, I'm jealous

A little thread maintenance for Edwin... Here is the thread for his upcoming show at Roq la Rue this Friday... ...and a couple of recent pieces for your enjoyment. "All Signals Configuring to a Position Seeping from Words Either Unspoken or Intangible" "A Drop which Broadcast the Sound of Crashing Waves"

Nobody can capture mood with light like Edwin. He's got an incredible talent-- genius!
Is this the right thread? I see Edwin as more "Contemporary."

I'd move a couple dozen people out of this section if I had carte blanche. I know they themselves would rather be listed in Contemporary, for certain.

Emerging master artist and so young. It will be amazing to watch his career. The images make me long for my childhood summers at the beach. Long hot, sunny, hazy days that went on forever. Image above: "A Commemorative Reset Button"
