Looks Great Amanda! Please keep me posted when the limited editions become available and the pricing!! Thanks,. The Andrew Hem special editions should start to become available in late August or early September. If anyone is interested in one of them, please PM me, so I can update you on specifics and make sure you're on the publisher's priority list. Here is a shot of the deluxe edition clamshell alongside a sample of the wood we are using to construct the limited edition box set, which will be packaged in a carved bamboo box designed and hand-embellished by Andrew.

"In addition to a survey of Hem’s recent paintings, this volume includes selections from his early work, graffiti, sketches, murals, sculptures and collages, as well as photographs from the extensive travel in Southeast Asia and South America that has informed his vision. With an in-depth essay by Amanda Erlanson that examines how Hem’s Cambodian heritage, urban upbringing and innate empathy merged to open his unique window into the invisible territories of the human spirit, this beautifully produced monograph is a fascinating view into the soul of an artist." I'm even more excited for this book now! Thanks for the peek.

Andrew's books are prepped to ship Monday morning! Everyone who pre-ordered the book should have gotten a PayPal invoice from Zero+ sometime in the last few days. If you didn't get an invoice, check your junk mail folder, and if it's not there, please email Zero+ at preorder@zeropluspublishing.com and let them know. Thanks! Andrew Hem's book is here, and the regular edition ships on Monday. Zero+ Publishing is offering it at a 30% pre-order discount through tomorrow, Friday. After that, it will be available at the full price of $45, but not for long, as it is well on its way to selling out already!

When Andrew Hem showed me his most recent painting, I realized that he'd stepped up his game to a whole new level. In this startlingly vivid scenario, Andrew placed himself within a stunning amalgamation of the gloriously stratified workspace of the legendary painter Francis Bacon and his own inspiration-strewn studio overlooking the rooftops of Koreatown. On Thursday, January 3rd, the painting will be on view at San Francisco's Spoke Art Gallery in the 2nd Annual Supersonic Electronic Invitational art show. "Bring Home the Bacon"
