portersquare.blogspot.com/If you have an extra hour Martin wittfooth and a few other artists sit down and talk to Jeremy about Exhale. As a fan of his work for a couple years now, this is easily the most I have ever heard hm talk about where his art comes from, his process, his techniques and his inspiration. I definitely think everyone who is into Geddes should check this out. The rest of the podcasts are great as well!

Jeremy Geddes just announced the release of “Acedia” print on Tuesday 20th November at approximately 8am Melbourne time (Monday 19th November at 1pm in San Francisco, Monday 4pm in New York, and Monday 9pm in London). There is a regular print for $290 AUD (includes packing and postage). The print image is 94cm wide and 50cm high (paper size 104cm x 61cm). The edition is limited to 375 prints and only one per person. And there is also a large print for $1200 AUD (includes courier). The print image is 170cm wide and 90cm high (paper size 187cm x 112cm), limited to 15 prints. One per person. In other news, Jem also just released two portfolio sets. Each set contains 15 lithographs (unsigned), the images in each set are listed on the website. They are printed on heavy weight Knight Vellum card stock and have a similar feel to our prints. They are $29 AUD a set (includes packing and postage) and come in a wrap-around cover.

Portfolios are a great idea, though!

Love this image....MANY said this was their favorite at the JLG show. Low edition is gonna make this a tough drop. Spot on pricing. HUGE PRINT!! Good luck to all going for this baby tomorrow!

some find these a bit dark and i definitely see where they;re coming from, but i'm inevitably drawn to them. they each have a story...dark, light, serene or deep seeded. When i collect pieces, one of the things i enjoy most is creating an interpretation all on my own. when an artist allows you to do that, i'm captured indefinitely. love the entire misere series.

Expect some individual pieces at group shows and what not. But I think another solo show is a ways off. The works for Exhale took three years to compile.

Didn't he say he was done with astronauts? Personally, I wouldn't be sad if he made more of these. Very nice.

Didn't he say he was done with astronauts? Personally, I wouldn't be sad if he made more of these. Very nice. I believe a while ago, he may have said something about steering away from the cosmo theme but looking at his recent work and some of the pieces from his last JLG show (failing echo), it seems he just has entirely too much passion for it...and just cant help himself. I think the addition of green in these pieces tying flight & weightlessness with earthly elements is just stunning. The contrast between the darkness and green puts my soul at ease. Really hoping these are made into a print set...unless someone wants to loan me $60K? Staring at the shadowing on the leaves will blow your mind.

Great and interesting interview! Too bad the interviewer wasn't able (?) to get back with some additional questions after Jem had answered.

New commission piece completed. Also can be seen at the 20 Year Anniversary Juxtapoz show currently at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York. Originally going to do a timed release print with this image but he has decided against it.
