I thought some more artist sections needed to be added so I'll start with another personal favorite of mine, Tessar Lo. Some people compare his work to James Jean... I can see it and would say that it is a compliment. Here's the piece I own: Here's a commission piece he just posted on his blog fillstheills.blogspot.com/:Another piece I really like: What do you think? Nice stuff right?

Dude. I'm trying to avoid spending more money but I might have to hit him up for a commission. Check this new drawing for Project: gallery's COLORBLIND show

So tempted with the drawing. It's huge at 21" x 19." Might have to get it.

Good price, You should probably get it. If you don't I might. Do you feel it? Peer Pressure. I just bought this print because I'm so addicted to his work right now. I think I'm going to have him be my first "artist wall" in my house. I'm digging the "Angel" piece so much I made it the centerpiece of my bedroom which I plan on decorating around the color scheme.

Good price, You should probably get it. If you don't I might. Do you feel it? Peer Pressure. I would feel better if someone else from the forum got it. If I have to think so long, i probably shouldn't get it. The only thing that gets to me is that your painting is 22 x 28 so basically same size but only $400 more. I mean, usually in shows, paintings that are similiar size are usually around 3x more expensive. So why is your painting not even double the price of that drawing? I'm not saying it's not an awesome piece.

I had to pull the trigger. I've been so gun-shy lately I needed to break the pattern.

I had to pull the trigger. I've been so gun-shy lately I needed to break the pattern. congrats! this is what tessar said "a real breakthrough piece personally, i have been trying to incorporate more space in my work and a real shift in my environments and use of media. i will be exploring more work situated at dusk and night. thank you to the buyer, i am glad that you can relate to, what is for me, something that is somewhat out of my comfort zone."

Hung, for a second there I thought you had Tessar on speed dial(I wouldn't put it past you) until I checked Tessar's blog. It wasn't real hard to pull the trigger on it, I realized what a beautiful piece it was the moment I saw it. The exact reason I liked the piece is what Tessar said, with the openness taken up the right side and it being at night/dusk(the white at the top looks like moonlight coming through). My take on it: the subject is out for a night swim but so wrapped up in her own thoughts it causes her to pause and reflect. Probably nowhere close as to what he was going for but that's just how I saw it.
