I saw a number of his drawings a few years ago. They were a pretty good size. Sven, do you remember the size of the pieces you saw?
I liked them when I saw them, but I wouldn't be interested in putting one of the vehicles on my wall.

funny that you posted about Cyr. I just picked up this piece Saturday at a benefit.  He's a Brooklyn-based artist. May try to get in touch for a studio visit for AM. |

excellent simon.
the new paintings at the show with raandesk are all really large - 36x60 and 30x60.
the show is with jason bryant and the 2 of them were previously assistants to kehinde wiley.... didn't know that before.

Drats... he was in my "low radar" as I've been following him for a while ;-) But I'm glad that he has a few new fans from here! Love how the hue background makes Cyr's subjects pop out...

if anyone from the other side of the water is buying one of these and wouldn't mind grabbing an extra one for me to post onto me in the uk, hit me with a pm.... i can paypal the funds - i'm sure someone could send me one for less than $30 shipping charges!
to put it into context, i recently bought one of kevin's 20x30 cradled board pieces from white walls. the shipping on that was $52....
