I saw some round Murakamis framed in custom round frames, and they look fantastic.. but, having only DIY as framing option, round frames are out of my reach... sadly.. |

How do you frame a tondo print?!Are you using a square box frame? On the off chance you were still looking for ideas, here's how I hooked up the one I got my mom for Christmas.   Material cost was $200 for frame, acrylic, and hardware from the following spot I randomly found online; www.customframingdesigns.com/catalog/item/4840155/4874542.htmAnd her local framer helped out with circular matte and labor for $40, but figure folks with more art experience could bang it out themselves. Still pretty pleased with how it turned out for sub-$250. Hope this helps someone. |
