As far as I know, he's never sold any of the moleskin notebook drawings (like Arson, above). I think he keeps the notebooks intact. Last I heard he was planning to make prints of some of the most popular images - the drawings on display at the Martha Otero show were test prints.
He does sell the preliminary drawings for his paintings though - those are the drawings you see for sale at galleries or direct from James.

cool new ipad app that james is working on for upcoming release. it features his many sketchbooks. looks pretty cool! would be great to see other artists doing something similar as well.
