Continuing discussion from above, I am really impressed with the new work from Melissa - just recently saw some previews from the studio, but not ready to share just yet.
I look forward to hearing responses as the work is similiar but different.

i personally love how the newer work i have seen from her takes a nod to her older more "illustrative" paintings. while i enjoyed her experimentation with the more realistic style, i find more charm and intrigue in the work where my focus is the line work and muted palette. i'll be looking forward to seeing her next show for sure.
