I also like the little texts that accompany some of the paintings, such as: "John "Smokey" Smith was almost on the verge of spontaneously combusting about every 12 hours. He would expand a third of his size larger and then smoke would begin to seep out of unusual places. Then all of a sudden there would be a loud pop and smoke would come out of a small hole in the top of his head. No matter how often he bathed, he always smelled like a fireplace."

Similar to my favorite Louie piece. Guess he decided to revisit it.

Does anyone know what the pricing is on this edition? Not interested in buying it - just curious as to the price. side note: who the hell picked that frame? Travis work is always framed in victorian era framing for OBVIOUS reasons. Who picked the gothic/medieval theme?! jIm

Call me crazy, but that seems like a fairly reasonable price. Nice looking frame, convex glass... Pretty cool.

For some reason, I have to admit I like the frame it little more considering its small size ... if that makes any sense.
and yes - for $350 its a nice little collectible...

The reasonable pricing on this piece patently reaffirms Pressure Printing's price gouging ethos when similar projects are executed but with much more high profile artists.

The print will actually be more like 5" tall if the frame is 8.75"
Not too bad a price. But once again Hi Fructose has no International shipping. Grr. I preordered the collected edition and was refunded as they were not taking international orders.
This is becoming more of a problem of late. More USA companies are stopping international shipping. Even Ebay wont list things in the USA as default.. Why is this. Are there new forms to fill in or something that makes shipping outside the country more complicated? (Thanks to LAura at Rivet for sorting me out with a collected edition though. Thanks).
Not sure about this print. I have been eagerly waiting for it but do feel its a little tiny... Not quite sure why pressure printings cost sooo much?

Well most of the time, the prints that Pressure Printing releases are not giclee prints. They are etchings, intaglio prints and so on. The whole process of making prints this way is time consuming, and a form of art in itself. They you add on custom frames, custom folders or tins for the prints and there you go. Giclee prints are most likely made on wide format printers, so the process is less intensive and spectacular.

ok so there is a different process used in pressure printing to letterpressed pressure printing? Fair enough.

Call me a flip-flopper but I couldnt help myself! ;D When I imagined it to be much larger, I thought it would look like a medieval shield on the wall and with it being PP I thought it would be just plain-evil pricing! But at this size its just too cute to pass up- its like pocket art... ;D and at $350, it might as well have been free! jIm
