was just there Peetov. i found your piece to be the stand-out. it's awesome in person! sweet! have i told you how handsome you are yet today? i can't wait to see it. i have no idea how it's framed or anything. you've got me even more excited now. actually i was going to try and snap a pic for you but figured there would be better ones posted up than what I could do with my iphone. the framing is actually really well done. its a simple wood frame - i believe it was black. looks awesome.

Epi would better then me, but I thought the frames were a very very dark wood brown, beau said thats what he was looking at framing wise but black may have been it. bring on the pictures

you may be right, highbrow. i don't remember the precise color. i always think a piece has been framed excellently when the frame itself seems to fade out while looking at a piece - and this one certainly did.

Beau has a couple pics on his twitter but all you can really tell is that the frames are dark. the pieces that are shown look great though from distant gallery shot. i hope Beau doesn't mind me posting this: twitpic.com/34ko0a/full

Canvas work started at 2K I believe and went to the largest work 6K. Sculptures were editions of 5 and all priced at 1500 execept 1of1 hand painted was 2500. If you go to Lebasse site non sold images should have pricing left.

Did you buy the running with the wolves piece Cory? If so, congrats. Saw this in person and you will be very happy with it. I feel that some of the pieces were early on in his experimentations with oil, but this must have been one of the last ones done and he was definitely getting better...

Hung, I am in the process of finalizing things with Beau for the work. i had to sell another painting but figure this will become a real prized corner piece of my collection, Either way I am excited to have pulled the trigger on it, figured it would one of the few times I would have a chance to own something at this price point and since I am still 7890 on the Keyes list think i will be passed over again for his show so why not spend some money. As far as the work goes, beau told me Nate spent about three weeks on this work and it was the very last one he did so his skill level on the new medium may have grown during the painting process of the other works, if so I am extra lucky. Thanks for the words and here is to hopefully not jinxing the purchase.

Well it would appear the running with wolves piece by Nate Frizzell is mine, occuring any major speed bump it will be mine. So great show and I am thrilled to own this large work, the remaining question is where it will hang as it is pretty big
