Hi Russcel,
Nice Shag pic there. I have yet to see them in person, but I bet they look great. We have similar problems, I have a 2 year old girl, so we hang things high --even if it doesn't make stylistic sense, just so she doesn't pull on them.

OMG Russcel,
I just went through your collection and realized you have multiple heavy hitters such as: Ryden, Camille Rose Garcia, Soto, Biskup, Shag, Dave Cooper, and more. I'm thoroughly impressed sir. Hang them high, behind doors and closets. Your boys will appreciate them one day.

Hi The Gorgon, I still find time to peek at my favorite pieces, especially when the kids are napping. I have a few friends that have baby girls, they're so much more calm and patient than boys. I'm trying to teach them to appreciate art, not to play with it. Take Care, Russ

Take Care, Russ As a preschool teacher, (currently) teaching children ages 2-3, and a former nanny, and also an artist. i can say for a fact your children will indeed be appreciative of art . Great that your starting them so young. And from my own exprierences working with children so young, I agree highly that girls are much easier to work with than girls, yet it all depends . one thing is for sure at least at least they are somewhat interested in art, wheras as teens they might not be . Also, aside from the Ryden's i am quite envious of your Ub Iwerks peices! I hope to find a legit dealer of early Disneyana someday.

where did you get this one?! soo rare to find work by Ub Iwerks! I've had this in my collection for thirty years, nice images are tough to find. yes nice images are but even sub par truly orignal ones by Iwerks that are confirmed are even more harder. there was a very rare Iwerks orginal self portrit that was found in the trash at Disney once, it was saved and added to the animation archives in burbank.

Mark Ryden, Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup and KRK Ryden collaboration. They used to do one of these every year at San Diego Comic Con and auction it off. I remember this drawing! I was doing a signing a the last gasp booth and those guys all sat on the floor next to me and started drawing! Talk about thunder stolen! Good dudes!

Great collection Russcel and congrats with the Frizzell, best one from the show. Thanks origo - The Frizzell wolf was really nice too, I sometimes prefer charcoal over a painting.
