Maybe it's gained but 1Euro only equals 0.7845Pounds as of yesterday. I just thought of something... maybe we should encourage are favorite artists to do shows in Mexico. ;D

A couple new ones at the Strychnin Gallery in Berlin. Looks like a revisit of her angel/balloonhead/swing themes.

Like the one with the swan in it. I by chance have two paintings with Swans in them, which could be the wife's two favorite paintings. The creature in the second image remind me a lot of the Mark Ryden "Tears" from Blood, Sweat & tears.

I really love the way her paintings look so soft and delicate . She is great at that technique

Posted a short interview with Nicoletta if you are interested. Also, this is my favorite from the show.

Ceccoli is by far one of my favorite artist out there. I get the same feeling viewing her work as I do with Ryden. Stunning Brilliant Museum Bound Artist!!!
Practically perfect in every way!

"all of them" isnt' a reasonable option, right? here's my preliminary list from the show thread: the Princess and the Prey Agetha Marieke marieke isis and i have to add "The hive". HH's right, it's stunning.

I had never seen her work until recently, and I must say it's all quite striking. So delicate with such subtle hues, and great imagination in each piece. How big are all of these? They look like they're probably decently small.

Oh my. Those are both beauties but I particularly like the bottom 'medieval' piece.
I've never saw an original so don't know what her preferred medium is. They look like watercolours but I'm guessing acrylic/gouache?
