Brett is a friend of mine, and one of my favorite painters in the SF area. And Adam's stuff is rad too, I grabbed one at his Gallery Heist show a few months ago. So, LA-people, make a point to see this show.

"This Is It" or "There It Is?"

Early morning brain fart... sorry for that. Show is 'There it Is'.

'There It Is' was derived by the three artists in the show by subverting Gertrude Steins Quote about Oakland: "There is no "there" there". Mad Oakland pride going on around this show.

Amory will have a solo show opening in the UK at Lazarides just a week after our show opens and Caldwell has a show at White Walls in summer 2011. All artists to watch for sure in my humble opinion. Going to be an exciting show.

I'm interested in seeing some of Seth Armstrong's work in person. The work looks pretty nice.

He does some very interesting work that isn't really contained to one specific set framework, but has a series of recurring themes that all seem to feed off one another very nicely. Each artist will have around 8 new works in the show. Another new one from Seth below...
