I know this is an art message board but sadly my love as a life long Heat fan ( life of the team ) I have no sports message board. so I just thought I would post it here, and the best part is Mr. Hungs Lakers ( I hope that is the right person ) are at home watching the future of the NBA take shape. Say we bought a team, or were suppose to win, or this and that either way I will be at the NBA finals..

I will say I will be rooting against you though, although I obviously don't like the Mavs either. In fact, I haven't really watched any NBA since the Laker lost... I was so depressed. At least our defense will be better next year.

Habit333 first welcome to the board always great to see new faces, and more importantly anyone who is a Heat fan moves up the list of people I like on this board very fast.
Hung I can respect the fact you need to root against the NBA EAST CHAMPIONS , MIAMI HEAT and I already like the fact Kobe isnt a fan of his new coach, and will be curious to see how you guys are able to land a big time player with the Love the GM has for Bynum. I dont see him trading him away with his statements that he is untouchable so should be great...

I dont see him trading him away with his statements that he is untouchable so should be great... Maybe after all those dirty moves and embarrassing the organization they will be more wiling to trade him... Not sure what to do but it's apparent to me the current group perhaps is talented enough but the chemistry is just not there. Not sure if a new coach can change that. But, yes, it certainly looks like the Heat are going on to win the championship. We'll see if the Mavs have one more surprise up their sleeves but seeing that whiny Cuban celebrate would just be as bad almost... it's a lose lose situation.

I agree sleep I still think the Lakers are amazing, even thought my hate for them stems to the same you have of the Heat, however a good friend of mines brother does a great deal of fill work on PTI and other ESPN shows and has his own show coming on ESPN2 in Nov, as well as a very popular local radio show down here and he has told me the person running the show for the Lakers is Jerrys son the GM, he is the one who discovered Bynum and has gone on record saying right now he has two untouchable people on the court Bynum and Coach Brown. the offseason should be interesting because to free up cap room to make a jump after a big player he is gonna have to let another piece of the puzzle go Gasol or Odom or someone. I also would hate to see whiny Cuban celebrate as well, we have a slogan now here in Miami. 2011 is the first year Miami is rooting against a Cuban .... Its almost Tuesday

Habit yes it was insane how happy people are they lost, I have people gloating whos team did not make it in the playoffs, or the worst the knicks fans saying next year when we get Howard BLAH BLAH BLAH. sadly I dont think any of them read as they would know they have 3 players under contract next year and a payroll of 42M and a cap of 52M without luxury tax, so I dont think Howard after the Knicks dropping 4 in the playoffs will be trying to make that jump if they are a step away from the playoffs, also with them still needing to fill a crap ton of spots on the bench.

Very true!
My biggest annoyance is the hate for Lebron James - He has not killed or raped anyone - He left a team that he gave his all to for many years in chase of what he has been working towards all of his life. Not only that, he sold something as ridiculous as a decision to a cable network, in order to give that money to charity...
I see so many comments from people who say he has a poor character, when their comments are much much worse than anything he has ever done - He has wished no one any ill will, yet people want him to lose(not just on the court) and actually wish bad upon him...

I agree the Hate for James seems odd, when Melo gets praise as he told his team I will not sign a contract so trade me, however Lebron decides to wait till the season is over to make his move he is the bad guy, Melo still the good guy some how

Exactly - Melo was a bit more selfish than Lebron if you ask me!
Shaq left Orlando, and he was praised for going to LA and winning with Kobe... People here in Orlando are still bitter about that, though... and we're about to go through the same thing with Howard(I hope not).
