Sorry I am new here and notice a great many collectors of prints. I am curious when an artist uses an image of another persons work ( photo, painting, etc. ) if the print sells out of course would people be interested in the original piece of work the print was created from?
any feedback or thoughts would be great

For example I see artists like Shepard who is releasing a print ( at some point ) and over on another board someone posted the image of the photo he used to create the new print. By him doing this would that create an interest in the original perssons work. ( is that better )

( is that better ) yes, i see now. hm...the artists i like don't really use anyone elses images that i know of so i guess i'm the wrong person to ask. personally it wouldn't make the original more attractive to me since it's the other artist that i liked. maybe it's more common for street artists?

Do you (or anyone else here) know where the original image came from? I've been trying to find out.

I do not know where the image came from but thanks for all the responses, I saw the original image on EB and was curious about it.
