I didn't know where else to post this and not sure if the media is making too much of it or not, but I'm hoping that our US East Coasters don't get hit too hard by Irene.
Have connected with a few members like akbape, inkdigital, Rodney G and artists like Faile, Bast and Judith Supine and am hoping that all of our fellow members and your families make it safe through the storm.

I am in Boston and we aren't supposed to get hit until tomorrow evening but just heard on the news that Virginia has roughly 2 million people without power right now. Crazy? Good luck New Yorkers!

I really feel for the upper east, being from and now living in South Florida we are much more prepared for hurricane issues, I hope everyone is safe and I wish you the best of luck on this pain in the ass. it is odd to watch the news for once during a hurricane and it not focusing on south florida. I hope the upper east is more prepared for this hurricane then Atlanta was for the snow storm last year. GOOD LUCK friends, along few days ahead
