Thanks, Sleep. Here's another image from the show. It deals with the surreality of suburban life and icons past and present as filtered through the hands and mind of Ron English. It's going to be an unforgettable show

Outside, grazing the lawns of Supurbia, are herds of Camo Deer. Within English’s idealistic recreation of morphed memories, Deer don camouflage that changes with the seasons, protecting them from the hunter’s scope while preserving them like a romantic memory from the last days of baby boomer youth. Below, "Camo Deer With Autumn Flowers", from Ron English's upcoming exhibition, "Seasons in Supurbia". www.coreyhelfordgallery.com

The paintings for this show are pretty stunning. Can't wait to see it in person. Love the camo-deer paintings.

I've been waiting to get something by Ron for a long time, and pretty much any of these camouflage nature works would be just awesome.. definitely my favorite images from him..
anyone has any info/ideas if there are plans of releasing any of them as a print edition?!...

Here's an image of the Camo Deer print. It's the first Camo Deer Ron painted. The original was in our Bristol show. Happy Thanksgiving!!
