 Joao Ruas' teaser flier - pick up yours at ComiCon this weekend!'YORE' will feature over 20 new paintings, 5 new etchings, 3 stunning works on ostrich eggs and more to be shared soon. Joao will arrive a good week before the opening to work on a mural for the exhibit and we'll be helping to publish a limited edition catalog for the show. Please know we'll also have some copies on hand of his limited edition book 'Minion' that was released in limited quantities at this past July's San Diego ComiCon. Hi there,
Not sure if we are going to sell the 'Minion' books via mail order, his whole thing was placing them in fan's hands, thus not selling them via his store after ComiCon. If I can mail any out, we'll be sure to let all know.
There will be a nice giclee print issued at the opening and we'll also be publishing a very nice limited edition catalog/book of all the works featured in 'YORE'. At this point, should be ready just in time for the opening (fingers crossed).

 João Ruas 'Nymphs V' - 11x9.25 inches / Watercolor, acrylic on Fabriano Paper (2011) - featured in 'YORE' The print we'll be publishing from Joao Ruas for 'YORE' will be for “Nymphs V” featured above. This special limited print will feature a full-sized reproduction of the original in an edition of 25. Additional details and pricing will be released in the week ahead. Joao arrives into Los Angeles tonight and we'll be proofing the prints tomorrow and come Monday he'll hit the ground running on his mural for the exhibit. I'll post some pics here soon of his progress. |
