I like the butterfly paintings, but couldn't fork over the CC# right now. Got some other stuff coming up.
I'm hoping to get to Rotofugi next weekend though. I want to see this exhibit and pick up my Shag print.

Nice collab with Jason Limon for dragoncon. We need some kind of 'Con' in the UK. There's definitely not enough cons!! I've never even BEEN to a con!

Did Dan May do the legs of that Limon creature too? Looks like it. This collab worked out nicely.

My girlfriend picked up the AP 1/1 print on canvas of this painting at dragoncon. It looked very close to the original which he had displayed next to it. There is supposed to be a run of 25 produced but I don't think they have been made yet. And yes, Limon drew that creature in the collab and then dan may added fur to the legs. It looked great too but I had already spent so much I couldn't afford to pick up one of those prints. They were both great guys. Actually all the artists I met at DC were extremely nice.

Dans new print is up soon.... Hi,
I have some great news that I am very excited to share with you. I have extended my studio space, and have opened up my own print shop. I will now be able to print directly from the studio.
My prints will be offered at a great rate, while maintaining the highest of quality. I am offering up a limited edition print of my latest work, The Other Side of the Blue. This will be a time-released print with a maximum edition of 50. The print will be available on May 3 at 12pm EST until June 3, 2011 (or until the run is sold out). After this limited edition release, it will no longer be offered again.
Additionally, each print will come with a coupon for 20% off of your next print purchase, valid for June’s release. I am excited to share this news with you, and greatly appreciate your support!
Thanks,

he's getting in a more realistic direction...which i like. especially the combination of his "world" with his WORLD get's me more interested in his art. so far i always had the feeling something is missing...something which speaks to me: "pull the trigger!" lol

Amazing new work from May. It is so exciting to watch an artist flow from one style into another. Just beautiful. Where Time Beckons the Wicked 60" X 30", acrylic on wood panel

I own several of Dan's prints, and a Bittersweet Departure giclee on canvas. But I recently had the chance to acquire one of my favorite images as a painting ... Weeping Tree. I'm not sure why it was unsold for so long as it is terrific in person. Attachments:
