oh i like the chaos ones a lot Yes I like Chaos as well... although it's a collaboration. Have been following his stuff for a while now thru his blog. I know he went to the same school as you tessar right? I think this was the first thing to attract my eye. Some other stuff he's working on.

Wow, thank you everyone for the kind words, and thank you tessar for this surprise, lol. I've been to this forum a couple of times to check out new work and news from artists, never thought I will be posted about, feels a bit unusual. However, I'm definitely looking forward to share some work and process here. I'm very flattered to hear that you guys enjoy those pieces. I will tell my friend Elise that you guys enjoyed the chaos piece too. While I'm here I thought I'll post some work in progress.. hope you guys don't mind. Here is an update on the pieces I haven't posted on the blog yet. I've been doing a lot of painting recently and trying to come up with more pieces, its been really enjoyable. Sleepboy already posted about one of these pieces but heres a new update on it... almost done, thinking about adding something on the top left, since its looking a little empty right now, maybe some trees and/or decorative elements. Heres a piece that I've put off for a while but reworked recently.. Both of these are almost finished...probably about 90-95%. I think about one more session each for touch ups. Let me know what you guys think. Also, here are some drawings/sketches I did recently that might turn into paintings later on.. Feel free to give your honest opinion as I am still learning and exploring. Thanks in advance!

heres update to share with you guys today. thought I'll show the process of one piece I'm currently working on. Here's the first layer of acrylics and colored inks.. working a bit differently this time, instead of painting on wood with oils/acrylics like most of the other pieces, i decided to experiment and try painting on paper again.

Been a while since the last post! But still drawing and painting, here is a piece i finished recently. Title: Beenoculars Medium: Pencil and Gesso on Stonehenge Paper Size: 11''x14'' "And that's why birds do it, bees do it Even educated fleas do it Let's do it, let's fall in love" Concept and idea: Inspired and based on the birds and the bees original meaning, where children learn about sex and pregnancy. I decided to use the notion of the voyeur, using binoculars to show curiosity. The birds and the bees are pollinating the flowers to show life giving. What is he doing with a bee-nocular? The mystery about this piece is, you are not sure who or where he is looking at. Is it the birds and the bees, or is it you, the viewer? Or maybe he is looking at a very pretty girl his age, or not, what do you think? This piece will be exhibited at the birds and the bees show at Jerome Jenner Gallery this friday (March 20) along with many other amazing illustrators/artists from the industry. All art work will be up for sale for a good cause to raise money for the graduating studios of 4th year illustration at Sheridan College. I am in the process of having some giclee prints made of this for the show. I will post more about that later as it gets near. Anyways, come by and mingle, have a drink, and enjoy art if you are in the area!
