Since I bought that other painting and apparently it was already sold when I did -- Jeremiah kindly offered me a commission with the same character. He's too sweet for words! Got it for cheaper too, Yay!

Got it for cheaper too, Yay! That's nice. I really like his new style with the larger central character. Funny how things work out. I've been bummed many times missing out on something but have it turn out for the better when I get something I like even better. Congrats!

Yeah totally. I think central characters like that makes it more object centered and I love it that way, it doesnt have that "wallpaper" look (not that I don't like his other pieces, but I love this new style a LOT!)
Oh well, I lost my phone today and someone called me back, I had this painting I like better for cheaper, I scored Lacey this weekend -- I had good karma in the last few days!

My latest purchase was a print by Joe Ledbetter--"Cluster #2". It's cute and will look nice in my son's bedroom. Just goes to show how lucky kids are nowadays. When i was little i used to stick magazine posters on my bedroom wall.

I foud out about it months after it had been released and sold out. And that's a funny thing because the first one sold out very quick but the second is still up for sale.

Did not buy, but got as a early birthday gift from my father two new photos from Al Rockoff, Rockoff is most famous for his cutting edge photos during the Vietnam War. He was also portrayed by John Malchovich in the film " The Killing Fields " HE and my father became friends while in Vietnam and currently live very close to one another in South Florida. Last year I was lucky enough to meet him as he spends half his time in Cambodia continuing to document ongoings there. His work is photos are not shown in the US very often but are in various galleries and the museums around the world. I know a number of people are not really into photos but here are the two I got last year, the new ones are packaged up waiting for framer. Sorry for the graphic nature of the photos if need to be removed please let me know. The first one is a mother and child, the mother breast feeding behind lays her husband who was executed minutes earlier. the second is two men just prior to a explosion as they carry a hand through the rubble to the bottom you see an entire body minus the head. Thanks for looking the next one will be my AJ Fosik wood print I promise. Or the other two photos depends which gets to me first.
