wow! what a great monroe piece. where did you find it?! is that stuff going in or coming out of his nose? i think he's inhaling. it's called "some kind of wonderful." i just stopped by richard heller gallery yesterday since they represent him and i wanted to start a relationship with them. they just happened to have it available. brendan will send them pieces periodically between shows to sell and take to art fairs. this one was bound for chicago before i hijacked it!

WOW! I feel like a rocket scientist, I finally cracked the code to posting pics on here. ;D This is my latest pickup, although it'll be a few weeks before I can actually bring it home. "Beneath the Surface" by CJ Metzger- 26"x12" acrylic and mixed media on wood. Saw it today in person, it's AMAZING. I've admired her work for over a year, and was just waiting for the piece that screamed out "buy me"... this was it!

She and her sister are very sweet!

Absolutely enjoying my time here. I get to know so many artists that I have had no chance to come across. I'm loving that piece by Scott Belcastro. Just checked his site, it looks he has ventured into a different approach.

All amazing stuff, and my last purchase until years close. I tried at the mmodern show and missed ( of course ) but was kind enough to find one that I had inquired about awhile back. and got a very fair price. should be out ot me next week sometime.

this is on its way to my home: "1,2,3,4,5..." (counting to 10) by Ali Cavanaugh 16x20 watercolor on fresco This is her blog where you can view more of her paintings: www.alicavanaugh.com/blog/As you can see she's very into stripes and socks. I really like the bright lighting in her paintings as well as her use of negative space. Here's another example of her work: Prices are reasonable and you can buy from her directly.
