Thanks for the framed pic, Ally. I can't wait to see my Paulley in person! I am so EXCITED! I have only been following the art scene for a year and a half or so and this is my very first OG, guys. Tin, you have taken my "art virginity" and I am thrilled!!!

Tin,
I like the older work and personally do not see anything wrong or to be upset y if you were using it for practice or refernce point. Regardless congrats on the great show at black maria and looking forward to gettng my items in the mail and hanging them up ( along with the 7 or 8 prints of yours I have to frame ) thanks again

yes thats my older work...i practiced alot from photos before i got a chance at this art scene...it was practice so i could understand what i could and couldnt do with pastels.im glad i did it because it helped me understand what i could do-but im NOT glad i scanned the practice art and put it in my journal back then.i really should have kept it to myself and not shown it in my journal..i never used my older art for any art shows..i still use photo referance but now i use it sparingly combined with imaginary stuff....im sorry if that art upsets you, i never thought it would be cared about.i really did'nt believe i would make it in this scene. Dude, nothing to apologize for. I think most artists do that. And i think that this piece is beautiful, regardless of where the inspiration came from. Your talent is undeniable man, as is evident by the demand for your pieces. I happily dropped a pretty penny for an og, and i'm glad i did.....keep doing your thing. Btw, did you do a commission piece for Long Gone John? If so, can you describe it...size etc...any pics? Just curious as i'm a fan of his documentary.

i own the original piece by tin that's in question above - not an inch of me is bothered by your approach on this earlier piece. i'm proud beyond belief to have it in my collection of tin originals.
congratulations tin on your continuing success and amazing growth. i feel distinctly fortunate to have been able to acquire your work early on and to be able to see the amazing things that you continue to do.

The box is truly amazing, A great thing, the painting on the cover, the drawing inside and all three prints are truly amazing, Wow do I have alot to frame, any ideas on framing the box cover? Last one is the drawing, did not take images of the prints sorry, but again a painting on the cover, all three prints, and a wonderful drawing could not beat that for 700 ( I think, might have been 750 ) Amazing, photos do not do justice

I believe Melanie said they were going to ship this week.
By the way, there is a Tin piece that is still available at the latest Copro Nason show.

Well I tried for the last time to get my work framed locally and have decided to suck it up and mail each work to Culver city to be framed. I know this is not the post for it but I took my woodbox top from the Tin limited set around to three local framers prior to mailing it out ( and it getting lost and found thank god ) needless to say everyones price was 3 times more then Culver City even after I added in shipping to and from. regardless here is the top framed really went back and fourth but could not find a frame that fit well so went black.

Well my Tin drawing arrived fromt he Black Maria Show ( thanks Ally ) and it is truly amazing ( sadly I have to take to the framers as there seems to be a hair or something trapped to the glass ) but all in all it is truly an amazing work Sorry about the outlet cover I order some black ones waiting fro them to arrive Here is the string, hair something no worries easy fix at the framers tomorrow ( I hope ), well that is it now to send the drawing that came with the limited box off to framers sometime this week ( I hate paying to frame things dam it )
