Time for a new thread.
I don't buy in volume as much anymore, some wants for 2013 include the right piece from:
Ian Francis Josh Keyes Aurel Schmidt Alex Lukas KAWS Barry McGee Mark Ryden (drawing) Yoshitomo Nara (drawing)
Hitting one or two of these would be considered a success...

I'm at a happy place with my collection. Thinking about taking the year off to recover from baby expenses and rental repair. I will have a commission finalized from Mia in early 2013 and want to put a little money aside for an original Wittfooth in 2014.

south
america
the colours are so much more effervescent.
I tend to fish in foreign climbs.
the one thing which draws me there is everyone I've ever contacted .. got back to me. for me that's both useful, encouraging and ... most of all brings a good vibe.
without vibe... there's no movement.
hny people.

I have no plans for specific artists. I'm tired off getting my hopes up. I'll just lurk around looking for things that I like.

Hmmm, Hard to say. Really looking forward to seeing what Chris Berens does for his show in Tokyo. Hope to pick something up from that. Otherwise I'd really like to get a painting by Madeline von Foerster. Other than that I'm gonna have to see what comes along.

James Jean Audrey Kawasaki Ian Francis Nate Frizzell I'm hoping I will be able to grab a piece from each artist, nothing too large. Will have to sell some other pieces to make room physically and financially though

are you guys interested in specifically ian francis canvases or what type of work? i always wanted to pick up a charcoal piece or a black and white canvas (which i don't think he's done recently). for some reason i always enjoy the energy of his work more from the pieces without color.

I wanted a black and white as the paintings are usually very large. It seems he's planning some smaller canvases for his next show which would definitely be welcome too

Hi all - I hope everyone has a great 2013 and your purchasing wish list is complete by the end of the year. For me 2013 will be about framing (famous last words there ), and apart from a mid-year trip to Europe for a month, with what spare $$s I have I would love to pick up an original by Josh Keyes, and try and finish off my collection of his prints. Amongst a few others - If anyone has Josh's 2006 'Above and Below' print let me know. ;D

Cutting way back this year. Would like to land a Rod Luff OG and probably something from Colin Christian's show in july. Going to keep an eye on Bec Winnel's show in Sept. but assuming I land pieces from the other 2 that probably won't happen this year.

I have a goal of paying off my credit cards by 2014 so I'm going to have a very narrow focus. Another Phlegm piece is all I'm really planning on.

2013 is fuzzy We have a How&Nosm coming in next week. Since we have the new house to furnish and a far too many unframed items I'm planning to focus on framing. However, like all of you I have "the sickness" and can talk myself into something. Either way there is one project that I am going to invest in. Book Project - Title TBC - The Flagler Art Space Reinier Gamboa Juan Travieso Leonardo Castaneda David Olivera If I cant keep myself from spending Doze Green Nate Frizzell Elbow Toe Ekundayo Dan Ah Kim Conor Harrington Kris Kuksi a small one like this David Ellis chandalier

That David Ellis chandelier was pretty cool. Saw it at the Joshua Liner booth in Miami.

Yeah, thats the one. Josh said he was going to do a series with smaller version (which I would need because my house isnt big enough for the one we saw in Miami) I really dug how the piece worked and its construction.
