I'm visiting Paris for work next month (Feb 6 - 13) and would appreciate any suggestions for places to go for an art fix while there. I'll go to the Centre Pompidou of course, and I plan to go to Helene Bailly for the last days of their winter group show ft. Katrin Fridriks. www.helenebailly.com/exhibitions/group-show-exposition-dhiver/Any other recommendations much appreciated!

This looks worthwhile for sure. Lots of great artists. www.hallesaintpierre.org/If I make it to Europe as planned in May I'm thinking of adding a few days to the trip so I can swing by and see this.

Not art but if you go nowhere else in Paris you must go to Deyrolle, the most incredible and fascinating entomology shop in the World: www.facebook.com/Deyrolle

We really liked Gaite Lyrique - not sure what will be on view while you're there, but the set up is great and it has a concert venue on the third floor so check their music schedule too. www.gaite-lyrique.net/There's a small Dali Museum, mostly sculpture in the Montmartre area (which we loved-there's a cemetery in that district which was beautiful). www.daliparis.com/english/

my favorite museum on earth: museum de orsay Ah, you like queues? I always liked the MuseƩ D'Orsay too, but last March I spent the whole month in Paris, living right by it, and didn't ever see it without at least a 2 hour line outside, even an hour before opening on a Sunday morning. Crazy.

I'm not too familiar with Paris - I do remember the boat ride on the Seine was nice as well as Notre Dame. In terms of art, maybe I missed it but surely you will want to visit the Louvre right? www.louvre.fr/en

But yes, the museums are pretty good too
