I've got 4 days there, from 4th April.
I haven't been before, so would be grateful for advice.
Cheers

In south beach, hit up Lincoln Rd for some good people watching. lots of outdoor places to eat and chill and less touristy than Ocean Dr. Some casual SoBe staples to eat at: Puerto Sagua, Sandwicherie and I also like Chalan.
I co-sign Wynwood Walls, and the Wynwood Kitchen resto there is pretty nice too. All around the Wynwood art district you'll see a bunch of street art but I wouldn't stray too far away as the surrounding areas can be a bit sketchy.

The surrounding areas can be a bit sketchy I will be there the same time roughly to enjoy the Miami heat from my nose bleed seats that I pay for and get use 3 times a year not counting playoffs and finals. Local artist LEBO has an amazing studio in the design district drop me a PM I will call him and see if he is in town then he sares it with Gibson Guitar and usually some really cool stuff he has in there.

Gentelman, many thanks for taking the time to reply. My usual holiday activity consists of wandering around, looking for decent places to eat and drink and some interestin art, and there is plenty of food for thought above.
I'm staying at the Shore Club which, I understand, will make me feel old...
If I wanted to attend a football game (I've just started watching Friday Night Lights, so am now an expert...) is that easy enough to do?

As someone who spent his entire life until 30 living in South Florida, Miami is the Mecca for US Jai Alai , that being said it is truly a said event to watch at least Dania, it normally now consists with a huge auditorium and about 15 people watching some of the worlds gretest Jai Alai players . All that being said if you do go good chance you will very good men yelling horrible things at the players for loosing
