I've planned a spur of the moment trip to Prague and Vienna at the end of the month. Any thoughts on cool galleries or sights to see in those cities? I studied in Vienna so I'm aware of most tourist, but not gallery, places to go. Never been to Prague.

Weezy Hi Weezy, got your message, thank you Please expect a more detailed reply from me in the next days, but what immediately comes to mind is this: INOPERAbLE Gallery ( www.inoperable.at/) Bäckerstrasse 4 ( www.baeckerstrasse4.at) - Their last open day before their summer break is July 26 That website is pretty informative (good that you speak German, I don't think they have an English version): www.wien-kunst.at/The Vienna tourist website has a good collection on links here (especially to some of the galleries in the Schleifmühlgasse in the 4th dictrict - there are even more than listed, there is basically one gallery to the next one): www.wien.info/en/sightseeing/museums-exhibitions/highlights/from-galleries/

You're the best! You know if I ask the concierge at my hotel I'm going to get lame, boring or blue chip, and I know Wien can offer more. I want exciting, fresh, emerging, street, edgy, sophisticated. I think about the incredible porcelain figurine holding a tongue in your collection. I don't want to waste a day on galleries that don't get that kind of art...

I went from not caring at all to cheering on all the footage I have seen, plus I think I love Jess Ennis a little bit.

Sleepboy please tell me you are not the least bit excited Howard will be joining an over the hill kobe LOL... I wish the season was starting tomorrow, that's how excited I am. Of course, it would not be good either as Howard needs time to heal, but rest assured I will be attending some Laker games next year perhaps when your Heat are in town.

Anyone have any remedies for morninging sickness besides crackers and ginger? Seems there is more to congratulate on than just awesome art purchases (To get back to your question, sorry, no good advice from me...)

Now that my dad has got a pacemaker as well (along with 2 artificial hips, screws in his knees and a spine that is more metal than bone), I am allowed to call him Robo-Dad (he thought it was funny). In all seriousness, I am completely in awe of modern medicine.
