duo Kolkoz's Floating Swiss Chalet
As global Associate Partner of Art Basel, Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet today announced their new artist collaboration with an ambitious installation piece for Art Basel in Miami Beach. Prestigious contemporary art gallery Galerie Perrotin will partner with Audemars Piguet to present a new work by French artist duo Kolkoz. The project will take the form of a chalet floating in front of the iconic modernist structure of the disused Miami Marine Stadium.

Renowned developer Tony Goldman was looking for something big to transform the warehouse district of Wynwood into something that would make the locals proud, and he arrived at a simple idea that has since taken the world by storm: "Wynwood's large stock of warehouse buildings, all with no windows, would be my giant canvases to bring to them the greatest street art ever seen in one place." Starting with his 25th-26th Street complex of six separate buildings featuring some of the biggest names in the world, it spreads out from there in every direction for blocks and blocks. This year an army of international talent descends on the district yet again. Not to be missed.

Dabs Myla are doing a crazy installation for it, will be a nice addition to their show with us over at SCOPE. Take off tomorrow - can't wait!
