Just got a look at the preview, and the pieces are very strong. So much for my attempt to stop buying art. The Realist (20x27 acrylic on panel):

These are great additions, Amanda.
New Name is such a beauty! I just received the preview, and it's tempting.

"The Street Is My Studio" I like so much in this painting, the light is stunning and the composition, the street, reminds me of Istanbul (!). I'm unsure about the central character, though. I kind of get it, but I'm not entirely comfortable with it. I think I'd find the piece intriguing on the wall...

"The Street Is My Studio" was inspired by Andrew's travels in Brazil. He was really impressed by the ubiquitous pixação graffiti he saw in cities like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. If you look closely, you can see paint drifting off behind the central figure as he clears his nozzle for the next tag.

I did wonder why he was spraying that way.
How big is it? Would you mind send me the link to available works? I'm in LA in a couple of weeks, spending a few days in Venice catching up with friends. I think I'll go take a look at this show.

"The Street Is My Studio" is 20x31. Unfortunately, the link I have to the preview has expired. Touch base with Merry, she'll be happy to send one your way. mkgallery@att.net
