We were lucky enough to obtain an image of Nara's studio. Here are some of the work that will be exhibited next weekend. Nara will be in town for this show so don't miss it.

Anyone privy to the hours of the opening? Not listed anywhere...

They usually have very early openings... like 5-8PM or 6-8PM... haven't heard and have asked. Nothing on site or on show card either - I'd say shoot to get there between 6 and 7PM to be safe.
No digital preview either, install will be getting worked on right up through Sat the gallery told me...

sooo sad i cant make the show. if i wasnt expecting any minute now i would go!!!! +1, um except for the pregnancy part. from phone reports, the show is pretty mindblowing. i guess all the parts were assembled into a wagon. can't wait to see pics. oh and by the way, it's open to 10pm tonight if you were thinking you couldn't make it out instead of 8pm.

Apparently the smallest work available – a drawing on an envelope in the back "VIP" room – was $9,000.

The show was amazing...its open til February, so don't miss it if you can make it to LA. Nara was super nice, spent some time chatting with me and Yoskay. I think its because he and Yosk look like brothers... dropped some photos on my blog too. dailydujour.com/category/blogs/beau_basse/

The wagon was only set up to look like his studio, and was created in conjunction with the Graf design studio (NRG) and was the main thing his team was working on while in LA prior to the show, the construction of it and all. It's for sale and likely to go to an institution of some sort. Just beautiful and so detailed. As Beau said, up through end of Jan, so get out to Culver City and check it out.
